UMZIMVUBU PREPARES TO HOST THE ANNUAL MAYORAL CUP TOURNAMENT IN KWABHACA.
Members of the media are invited to attend the Annual Mayoral Cup Tournament, which will be held on the
24th June 2023 at Badibanise Sports ground in KwaBhaca.
The Mayoral Cup Tournament is a youth mayoral programme, that seeks to curb crime and encourage
active participatory citizen through sport. Building on the success of this programme over the years, it is not
just a tournament but a journey to development with a participation of more than 200 young stars. Two
sporting codes are expected to entertain crowds with quality displays from Soccer and Netball.
All respective clusters have competing teams on the above-mentioned codes. Winners will be crowned
upon completion of all sporting codes.
