UMZIMVUBU LOCAL MUNICIPALITY NOW ACCCEPTS EMAILED APPLICATIONS FOR JOB
SEEKERS
KwaBhaca – Umzimvubu Local Municipality (ULM) now accepts emailed applications for job
seekers. The aim of the ‘recruitment email’ is to make it more convenient for applicants to apply for
vacant positions at the Municipality.
The paperless system will allow prospect employees to apply for a job without having to make
copies of their Curriculum Vitae (CV). Applicants are further requested not to attach their
qualifications on the recruitment email, as this will be a request made to shortlisted candidates.
“The recruitment email follows the sudden disruption of Post-Office services in KwaBhaca and
EmaXesibeni. In the spirit of leaving no one behind, Umzimvubu will continue to introduce various
systems to mitigate unemployment. By this, we intend on introducing a fully-fledged e-recruitment
portal whereby candidates can track their application status on the system. said Umzimvubu Mayor,
Cllr Zukiswa Ndevu.
The Municipality’s mission is to plan and deliver quality and sustainable services to improve the
socio-economic status within the broader community of Umzimvubu. The Municipality calls upon all
applicants to utilize the recruitment email that is as follows: recruitment@umzimvubu.gov.za for any
employment application addressed to the Municipality.
