This includes planning and delivering proper road infrastructure and maintenance. The access road was built on putting people and their concerns first by ensuring constant communication with affected communities through effective public participation platforms. This is the essence of our ‘back to basics’ approach. We therefore call upon on our communities to actively take part in public participation meetings and assist us in shaping Umzimvubu for the better” she concluded.
