​ULM's Local Economic Development Department is hosting a Fashion Show as part of its Tourism Initiatives. This activity seeks to promote Local Small Medium and Micro Enterprises where these designers will showcase a range of their Cultural as well as Modern Contemporary gear; designed and crafted by them. This has been aligned to the Valentines Week as often this day is associated with trendy fashion and sophistication.​ The event will be on the 13-14 February 2014 and it is the first one of its kind. the intention is to have it held annually from this year going forward. On the 13 of February 2014 a Cultural Fashion Parade will be held and a Modern Contemporay Fashion Show is to follow on the 14th of February where DJ Saba Mbixane of Umhlobo Wenene will be entertaining guests. Morning Breakfast show popular presenter Putco Mafani will be your host for the evening Valentines Dinner that will be held in the evening. R300 will secure space for a couple at the evening dinner and R180 will be the damage for singles. Dress Code is strictly formal and prefered color themes will are red, black, white and gold. Fashion Parade on both days will be held at Xesibe Tourism Centre in Mnqwane Location, between Mount Ayliff and Kokstad, just 5km out of Mount Ayliff.
