Umzimvubu local Municipality, through the office of the Mayor is embarking on a fact find and resolution process where all Municipal departments will convene in one place to attend to customer complaints and resolve them instantly. The purpose of the programme is to afford our Ratepayers an opportunity to meet the Mayor to express all their complaints starting from:

  • Billing rates and taxes/Valuation.
  • Town Planning issues.
  • Roads and Storm water issues.
  • Traffic Services/Community safety.
  • Community Services i.e. refuse collection.

Ratepayer’s executive committees for both towns were consulted for their inputs in the process of preparing for the Ratepayers week that is to be held from Monday the 21st to the 25th of November 2016. Municipal officials will be available from 08H00 am to 19H00 pm as per the itinerary below:
