Umzimvubu Local Municipality (ULM) joins masses of South Africans and all Anti-Women Abuse Associations and roars in one voice in saying, "Women Abuse is an unacceptable act by the ULM Community, it should STOP"...not tommorrow, not yesterday but NOW. Join us at 08:30am, on 08 August 2013 when the Mayor, Councillor Khulukazi Phangwa will be leading a March assembled at Mount Ayliff Taxi Rank proceeding to the Magistrate Court where a petition will be handed over to the Chief Magistrate. This is to signal and show the sentiment of ULM Women in saying let us do away with Women Abuse, Killings associated with Body Mutilation, Rape and Discrimination based on Gender. A Prayer session will be later held at Mount Ayliff Town Hall where Women from different denominations around ULM will Pray for this seemingly over-whelming scourge tha has spread throughout South Africa and seems to be a trend, if not a fashionable pattern. Let us yell in one voice and be aresponsible society.
